Wearables Carve New Path To Health In 2015
"Though targeted at athletes, the device could perhaps help those with chronic conditions that weaken their stamina."
Measuring stamina is a challenge that bOMDIC believes it has overcome with its GoMore stamina sensor and app.
The wearable strap, tested for three years and slated to ship April 15, works with the companion app to determine users' stamina over the course of a workout and day. It tracks both workout efficiency and energy level, according to bOMDIC. Though targeted at athletes, the device could perhaps help those with chronic conditions that weaken their stamina.
"A lot of the fitness devices push athletes to reach higher goals without focusing on understanding how their stamina can help them reach new goals as well as how it can hurt their performance and possibly lead to injuries or burnout," said Hsin Fu, CEO of bOMDIC.
